These Americans is a website primarily focused on gathering photos of some american men and women’s dark and crazy past. Imagine someone going through other people’s homes gathering old photos. Polaroids, accidents, naked people. baxploitation, the odd party and even a section on criminals.
On their website you’ll find a selection of t-shirts with their photos. Some unique and dark stuff in two basic models: black or white.

Hoy estrenamos firma invitada. Karen Lopez, de Fashion in Session se ha currado un estupendo post con consejos femeninos (y muy acertados) para elegir la camiseta perfecta. ¡Gracias, Karen!
Una cosa de la que me he dado cuenta es que cuando van a comprar camisetas, los chicos solo parecen fijarse en el diseño o el dibujo cuando el tallaje correcto es mucho más importante. Elegir basándose en el aspecto en vez de en la talla parece ser algo que afecta a ambos sexos pero se nota más en ellos, ya que la humilde camiseta es un básico del guadarropa masculino y la base de muchos outfits.
El primer paso para obtener un mejor tallaje y vestir mejor es ser realista en lo referente a la complexión corporal y conocer las debilidades y virtudes propias. Aquí va un breve resumen con diferentes complexiones y qué buscar en una camiseta para poder conseguir que se ajuste a la perfección.
Zazzle
Complexión ancha – Si estás un poco rellenito y quieres disimular la barriga cervecera, entonces lo tuyo es una camiseta de corte recto. Así no será tan entallada en el estómago y será más suelta alrededor del pecho, lo que hará que la zona del torso parezca rectangular en vez de redonda. Asegúrate también de que el cuello no sea demasiado estrecho para que tu cuello no parezca demasiado largo.
Negotium Agere
En forma – Si te cuidas, puedes elegir camisetas más ajustadas, que tienen una forma como de reloj de arena y costuras laterales. Estas camisetas resaltan sutilmente la cintura, lo que hace que los hombros y la espalda superior parezcan más anchos y, por lo tanto, más masculinos. Una de mis marcas favoritas de este tipo es Negotium Agere.
Oakley
Atlético– Si te machacas en el gimnasio, entonces que se note. No dejes pasar la oportunidad de utilizar camisetas slim fit. Estas camisetas suelen utlizar elastán, que se ajusta más al cuerpo.
Independientemente de tu constitución, las costuras de la manga siempre deberían caer sobre los hombros y no más abajo del brazo, porque es ahí donde deben acabar las mangas, no en los codos. Las tallas varían de una marca a otra, así que no te fíes demasiado de lo que dice la etiqueta. Del mismo modo, evita comprar la talla que querrías tener pero no tienes o esconder tu talla real.
En resumen, siempre priorizae cómo te queda la camiseta por delante de lo que pone en la etiqueta o el diseño, ya que una camiseta lisa de la talla adecuada siempre quedará mejor que otra con un bonito diseño y la talla equivocada. One thing I have noticed is that when buying t-shirts you guys only seem to consider what print is on there while it’s far more important to get the right fit. The preference to choose clothing based on what we think looks good rather than what actually suits us seems to be a universal problem which affects both sexes. However, it is much more noticeable with men as the humble t-shirt is such a wardrobe staple for guys and the basis for a lot of outfits.
The first step to better fitting clothes and a better dressed man is to be realistic about your body shape and know its strengths and weaknesses. Here is a brief overview of a few builds and what to look for in a t-shirt which will help you find that perfect fit:
Thicker build – If you are a little out of shape and want to obscure the beer gut then go for a straight cut t-shirt. This fit will be a bit more forgiving in the stomach area as well being looser around the chest which will make the torso area appear rectangular rather than round. Also make sure that the neckline is not too tight as this will make the neck appear overly large.
Decent shape – If you are in decent shape then opt for fitted t-shirts which when lain flat on a table have a slight hourglass shape and have side seams. This will subtly highlight the waist which will make your shoulders and upper back look broader and therefore more masculine. One of my personal favourite t-shirt brands with this fit is Negotium Agere.
Athletic – If your physique has been honed by spending many hours in the gym then by all means show your hard work off! Go for slim fitted t-shirts. The fabric will normally contain a small percentage of elastane. These t-shirts will stretch and hug your physique.
Regardless of your build shoulder seams should always be on the shoulders and not halfway down the upper because and that’s where your sleeves should end (not on your elbows). Furthermore, what fit suits you will differ from store to store – in other words don’t place all your trust in the label size. Try the t-shirt on and try to be objective and see if that top really does suit your body. Being size neutral can be hard. Try to resist going for the size you wish you were or trying to hide the one that you are.
In summary, no matter what your build fit should always take precedence over the label size or print as a plain t-shirt with the right fit will always look better than a t-shirt with a nice design but wrong fit.

August is a non-stop displa of the tees we’re going to wear this fall. The turn has come for one of our favorite streetwear brands. I mean, how can you resist the power of the flamingo? Keys for this collection? Keep it simple. A nice use of the brand name, a 100% appropiate use of iconography on the more “graphic” tees and a basic but straight choice of colours. La gente de Ssur ha conseguido conjugar a la perfección un rollito urbano y sobrio con guiños muy logrados al mundo de las marcas de lujo, haciendo juegos de palabras con conocidísimas marcas, recordándonos el verdadero apellido de algunos diseñadores o rindiendo homenaje a grandes clásicos del despiporre como Zoolander.
If there’s one thing that’s worth praise in a streetwear brand’s traits, that’s using humor on a way that’s totally compatible with quality. The folks at Ssur have managed combining an urban, serene vibe, with really cool nods to luxury brands, making a little of slapstick humor with well-known brands, making us remember some designer’s real names and paying homage to comedy classics such as Zoolander.
