A Billy Corgan no le gusta que le troleen, y lo deja claro con esta camiseta. Lee la historia completa aquí.
Billy Corgan doesn’t like any bitchin’ around him so he made this tee. Read the whole story here.
The National are touring Spain this week and we thought maybe it was a good excuse to show some of their tees…
True post-rock legends Mogwai have managed to transmit their unique sense of humor to everything that sorrounds them. From the titles of some of their songs to their official merch, there’s a lot of joking around, more than one would expect from their atmospheric, epic-driven music. This scottish band has a hard-to-define design environment that usually will result in nice surprises. From their well-known “Blur: are shite” tee until some of their more recent designs, such as the Jim Morrison one, everything falls in place with a band that sports the healthy habit of not taking things too seriously.

Rock band t-shirts have become a staple in t-shirt designs from all kinds of brands, mainly mass consumer ones. We’re fed up with all kinds of guys wearing the infamous Ramones tee, Rolling Stones, Smiths or even Metallica t-shirts. Most of the times the will fail to quote two or three songs from the band they are “wearing”. That’s why we love so much Altamont‘s homage to outlaw country legend Waylon Jennings. Jennings, a perfect example of how walking on the wild side is not exclusive to rock musicians, was one of the great examples of a new way of living country music, teaming up with the likes of Johnny Cash or Willy Nelson.
Hi boys and girls, after some (well deserved!) holidays, we’re back on track! Tomorrow will see the start of this years’ Low Cost Festival at the beachy (and sometimes bitchy) Benidorm, and we’ll be attending and, hopefully, will do some t-shirt spotting, so don’t forget to wear your coolest tees (an obvious advice, being this an indie music festival). We thought it would be cool to assemble a little line up with the nicest t-shirts from some of the bands that will be performing at Low Cost Festival as a warm-up. See you at BeniYork!

Band t-shirts unfortunately end up depending too much on record cover design or the band’s logo. Madrid band Toundra, one of Spain’s indie scene nicest surprises over the last years, also take great care in their record, poster and t-shirt design. With the collaboration of some really talented studios such as Sing & Design or mdonada, Toundra have managed to create a line of t-shirts (over a dozen different models, some of them only available at their gigs) that rock as much as their music. Here’s some examples:
