Supremebeing presenta una colección Primavera/Verano 2104 sin grandes sorpresas pero manteniendo su identidad. Eclecticismo, animales, imágenes contundentes, siempre con un espíritu juguetón y muy urbano. Puedes ver más aquí y aquí.

Supremebeing introduce their 2014 Summer Spring collection. No big surprises here for the brand, but they do keep their identity. An eclectic vibe, animals, in-your-face images… always keeping a playful and urban feel. Check it out here and here.

New Stuff: Black Scale Fall/Otoño Lookbook

La gente de Black Scale ha demostrado desde hace tiempo que no sólo sabe hacer un streetwear con una fuerte identidad. También demuestran un cuidado exquisito a la hora de realizar sus lookbooks, como se puede ver en el vídeo correspondiente al de la temporada Otoño 2013 de la marca.

Con el lema “Life & Beauty”, la marca presenta una interesante gama de sudaderas, chaquetas y demás entre la que destacamos, claro, las camisetas. Bien de motivo gráfico, con predominio cósmico geométrico y ese punto entre siniestro y callejero que tanto nos gusta. La colección completa, aquí.

The guys at Black Scale have long managed not only a cool streetwear line with a strong brand identity. They also show exquisite dedication in their lookbook shootings and videos, as you can see in their Fall 2013 materials.

With the “Life and Beauty” motto, Black Scale presents a nice collection of hoodies, jackets and the such. Of course, our focus is on the t-shirts. Outstanding graphic tees with lots of geometric shapes and cosmic motif, and that half dark/half urban vibe. You can check the whole collection here.

New Stuff: Primitive Apparel Fall Lookbook 2013

tee-topic_white Este mes de agosto es un non-stop de anticipación de lo que vamos a vestir el próximo otoño. Llega el turno de una de nuestras marcas de streetwear favoritas. Lo confesamos, no sabemos resistirnos al power of the flamingo. ¿Los detalles de su colección? Sencillez. Un uso interesante de los logos de marca, una elección acertada de las iconografía de sus camisetas más “gráficas” y una selección de colores básica pero acertada. August is a non-stop displa of the tees we’re going to wear this fall. The turn has come for one of our favorite streetwear brands. I mean, how can you resist the power of the flamingo? Keys for this collection? Keep it simple. A nice use of the brand name, a 100% appropiate use of iconography on the more “graphic” tees and a basic but straight choice of colours. Loreak Mendian has managed trough the years to be one of Spain’s leading brands, mainly thanks to their high quality standards and their designers wild and wonderful imagination. Las marcas de streetwear empiezan a ir dando a conocer sus propuestas para la próxima temporada de otoño y hoy llega el turno de Mighty Healthy, que han elegido adecuadamente como modelos a los miembros de su equipo de skate. La propuesta de esta marca cubre todas las tendencias del momento, como prints con motivos cósmicos, ilustraciones de rollo retro, camisetas con bolsillos, etc. aportando detalles propios muy interesantes y una muy buena relación calidad precio. Echamos de menos que alguno de los modelos del lookbook hubiesen posado con tallas menos oversize pero, hey, al fin y al cabo, son skaters!

Streetwear brands are slowly letting us know about their ideas for the fall/winter season. Today’s Mighty Healthy‘s turn. The brand has conveniently chosen the guys from their skateboarding team to star in their lookbook shooting. Mighty Healthy’s take on this Fall’s style pretty much ocvers all current trends: cosmic themed prints, retro-inspired illos, the pocket tee… adding very interesting unique brand details and a good price/quality. We would have really liked that some of the guys from the lookbook had worn some of the stuff in a less oversized way but, hey, they’re skaters, after all!

New Stuff: Brixton Fall 2013 Lookbook

A lo largo de casi una década de existencia, Brixton ha sabido alinearse con la música, el surf o la cultura urbana manteniendo un estilo propio basado en prendas sencillas y elegantes sin grandes estridencias. Su elección de colores y diseños es ideal para lo seguidores del streetwear que no quieren renunciar a un estilo clásico, huyendo de estridencias y adaptando las tendencias de temporada a su identidad, como se puede ver en la selección de camisetas que incluyen en su lookbook para la temporada de otoño.

Through a almost a decade, Brixton has aligned his brand identity with music, surf or urban culture while keeping a personal style based on simple yet classy clothing without some of the flashy gimmicks you’ll see on other brands. Their choice of colours and prints is great for those who love streetwear but want to keep a more classic/smart look. They are also great at adapting this season’s trends in their DNA, as it shows in the tees included in their Fall 2013 lookbook.

Dance Macabre Lookbook 2013 Cementimental Witch House Remix

Dance Macabre es una nueva y muy interesante marca que ha iniciado su actividad a principios de este año. Sus rasgos diferenciadores son el hecho de añadir un baño de color a sus diseños de inspiración gótica y el cuidado en todo el proceso de producción, además de producir cantidades muy limitadas (entorno al medio centenar) de cada modelo. El diseñador de Dance Macabre, Paul Dobson,  rebusca constantemente entre fotografías antiguas e ilustraciones victorianas como  fuente de inspiración para sus colecciones. Una marca joven que, sin duda, vamos a seguir muy de cerca. En el vídeo de arriba, podéis ver el lookbook de la marca con música de Cementimental de fondo. Dance Macabre is a new and interesting brand established earlier this year. Among their unique traits we found specially appealing the fact that they chose to add a rush of colour to their gothic-victorian inspired designs and the great care they put in all the production process. Also, their collections come in very limited quantities (around 50 per specific model). Dance Macabre’s designer, Paul Dobson, is constantly browsing through vintage photos and Victorian era illos  as a source of inspiration for his designs, and the effort truly shows. A young brand we are keeping track of. In the video, you can check the brand’s lookbook with music by Cementimental. Also, take a look at their men’s t-shirt range here.

Asos y Puma repiten colaboración en una colección en la que, claro, hay lugar para las camisetas, caracterizadas por colores neutros y formas sencillas. Para el lookbook han contado con gente como Tristan Richards, cofundador de las fiestas Boiler Room, el ilustrador Daniel David Freeman o el tatuador Caleb Kilby.

Asos and Puma team up again in a spring/summer  collection where, obviously, there’s t-shirts available, its main catch being neutral colours and simple shapes. For the lookbook shooting, they have recruited individuals such as Tristan Richards, co-founder of the Boiler Room parties,  illustrator Daniel David Freeman or tatoo artist Caleb Kilby.
